Aspen Medical is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Director – Innovation & Solutions to lead the development of digitally-enabled health solutions that transform the way healthcare is delivered. Reporting to the General Manager – Growth, this executive leadership role sits within our Business Development team and will work closely with senior leaders across Business Development, Customer Success, Clinical Operations and Product to identify opportunities, develop new service offerings and bring innovative healthcare solutions to market. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of clinical practice, innovation and commercial strategy. You'll lead the journey from concept through to proof-of-concept, pilot and commercial scale, partnering with customers to solve complex healthcare challenges while building scalable solutions that deliver measurable health outcomes. About the role * Lead Aspen Medical's innovation strategy by identifying and designing commercial healthcare solutions that are digitally-enabled. * Build and manage a portfolio of innovation initiatives, progressing ideas through proof-of-concept, pilot programs and full implementation. * Partner with customers through co-design workshops to develop outcome-focused solutions that address real-world healthcare challenges. * Develop compelling business cases, pricing models and commercial strategies that support sustainable growth. * Build strategic partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem, including technology providers, research institutions and industry organisations. * Lead and mentor the Innovation & Solutions team while working collaboratively across Business Development, Customer Success and Executive Leadership. About you * 10+ years' experience in health service innovation, health solutions design or healthcare consulting, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. * A clinical qualification in nursing, allied health or paramedicine, with a strong understanding of healthcare delivery. * Demonstrated experience facilitating co-design or human-centric design workshops with customers, clinicians and stakeholders. * Strong commercial acumen with experience developing business cases, pricing models and bringing new solutions to market. * Excellent strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across complex organisations. * Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system, digital health and outcome-based contracting will be highly regarded. A relevant postgraduate qualification or PhD is advantageous.
