Position summary

The Director Innovation is responsible for leading the agency’s process enhancement project, planning and coordination of the business improvement program, business model analysis, process design/engineering and project planning activities.

Expertise in documenting business processes for continuous improvement, including developing business process and change management artefacts.
Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and influence diverse stakeholders, maintaining a professional and constructive working relationship to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, lead change, and manage projects to provide innovative and effective strategic organisational solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and support executive decision making.
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead team performance and uphold a commitment to continuous improvement to deliver on strategic and operational objectives.
Confidently leading by example and displaying appropriate professional and inclusive behaviour in the workplace (consistent with APS and APVMA values and behaviour expectations).
