The Amentum Risk Management Team has an immediate opening for a Director of Insurance and Risk Management position to join our Treasury & Risk Management team. This is a hands-on, critical, role with high visibility that will help the organization evaluate the current insurance landscape, determine the best coverage model, and build out a network of insurance providers to support our current and future needs. In this role, you will be required to promote an enterprise-wide understanding of the company’s risk management philosophy and strategies, as well as assist in leading and managing assigned aspects of Amentum’s global insurance and risk management program. The ideal candidate is mid-career, technically astute, and growth oriented.
US Citizenship is required, this is a remote-telework role, if you live near our Herndon, VA office you are free to work from our Amentum office is desired.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Director of Insurance and Risk Management is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of assigned company global risk and insurance programs. You will lead the development, negotiation, and administration of insurance placements and risk mitigation strategies aligned with the company’s operations and strategic objectives. The Director acts as a key advisor to business units and senior leadership on risk-related matters and ensures compliance with regulatory and contractual risk transfer requirements.
