Job Summary
The Integrated Planning Transformation Director is responsible for achieving the transformation goal of elevating process, system, and people capabilities in Planning to deliver a step change in key business metrics: forecast accuracy, OTIF (On Time In Full), DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding), and BO (Back Orders) while driving productivity of the Planning function. It will lead the digital transformation and continuous improvement of the Planning processes to drive efficiency. It will also be responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing management of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process across the organization for the region. This role is pivotal in driving organizational adoption, ensuring process alignment, and facilitating decision-making to optimize business performance. In addition, the role is expected to expand into Commercial Excellence by aligning planning with customer and distributor needs. It partners closely with Commercial Excellence, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to integrate customer segmentation, service-level expectations, and distributor data into planning processes. The role is pivotal in bridging internal supply capabilities with external demand realities—ensuring BD delivers a unified, insight-driven, and value-based customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities

IBP Implementation and Management

  • Lead the implementation of the IBP process in the region.
  • Drive organizational adoption and acceptance of the IBP process.
  • Orchestrate the ongoing IBP process across all steps.
  • Manage the implementation project, ensuring appropriate scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Monthly Planning Cycle
  • Assist in preparing data and presentations for monthly IBP processes including portfolio review, regional demand review, integrated reconciliation (IR), and management business review (MBR).
  • Facilitate decision-making and alignment on monthly demand operational forecasts and supply plans.

Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and business partners to develop, adopt, mature, and improve the IBP process.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure clarity of financials to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Region, Planning, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Business to optimize the planning process.
  • Performance Tracking and Management
  • Measure, control, and improve IBP accuracy through clear, defined metrics.
  • Present and manage key performance metrics to provide root cause analysis and recommendations for performance improvement.

Communication

  • Deliver clear, direct, and fact-based communication.
  • Turn data into information to drive decision-making and action.

Innovation

  • Explore and implement innovative opportunities such as technical initiatives to automate data collection and improve data analysis.
  • Standardize metrics dashboard.

Demand Planning Excellence

  • Deploy AI/ML capabilities in demand planning in the S&OP process.
  • Coordinate closely with the Global Plan Excellence team in driving predictive and prescriptive planning processes, scenario optimization, and no-touch planning.
  • Ensure IMS (In Market Sales) data integrity and TMS (Trade Market Sales) reconciliation as forecasting inputs.
  • Manage the deployment of innovations in forecasting processes and technology adoption.

Supply Fulfilment Excellence

  • Drive auto stock deployment and execution excellence.
  • Coordinate closely with the Global Plan Excellence Team in driving process improvement, technology adoption, and no-touch stock deployment and execution.

Commercial Planning

  • Partner with Commercial and Customer Service teams to align planning with customer/product segmentation and customer/country service-level agreements.
  • Integrate sales funnels and win rooms, bring sales inputs for new product launches, promotions, and market access strategies into the demand planning models.
  • Integrate distributor inventory and sell-through data into demand planning models.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence teams to align planning with value-based selling and customer journey mapping.
