The Role We are looking for someone with previous directing experience who is ECT qualified to lead KU Shalvey on a permanent basis, working 7.6 hours a day, Monday to Friday. We seek a director with a contemporary pedagogical lens, who is able to lead, mentor and support a small but enthusiastic team of educators. The team is passionate about creating engaging learning environments that reflect children’s interests and promote sustainability through gardening, recycling, and nature-based play. This is a blended teaching and non-teaching director role, with a generous director’s allowance and dedicated time to work with educators and children to guide and support pedagogy and practice within a high functioning team. You will bring sound pedagogical knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with children, families and team members, while supporting rostering, mentoring, daily routines and policy implementation to build a harmonious working environment.
