EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant job experience. OR equivalent years of experience. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of applicable professional experience for each year of college requested.
  • Applicable learning and development, coaching and assessment certifications preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in learning and development as a dynamic senior-level leader with at least 5 years in a Senior Manager or higher role, working with diverse teams in a field-based business on a national scale.
  • Advanced experience in leading, coaching or mentor leaders with a growth mindset.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link learning strategies to organizational objectives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Innovative thinking and a solutions-oriented approach to challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Set and drive the companywide leadership development strategy to support business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organizational needs and challenges, and create customized leadership development solutions to meet these needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program managers and designers to create impactful, bespoke programs that support the broader talent strategy. 4-5 Direct Reports
  • Focus on the learning needs of all colleagues across various stages of the career lifecycle – from early in career to senior executive leadership, providing enterprise learning experiences.
  • Establish a measurement strategy to monitor the effectiveness of leadership development programs and their impact on employee performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of leadership development initiatives, from needs assessment through design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Build strong partnerships with external vendors, consultants, and training providers as necessary to enhance internal learning offerings.
  • Design and implement accelerated development programs for high-potential individuals to prepare them for leadership roles and support career progression.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify critical skills gaps and design learning interventions that foster continuous skill development and career advancement.
  • Integrate leadership development programs with broader talent management and succession planning initiatives to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organization, emphasizing career growth and internal mobility.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, ensuring that leadership development programs are innovative, relevant, and competitive.
