We have a unique opportunity for a Director, Learning & Development (L&D) to shape our global talent strategy. This high-impact role drives our LMS, leadership development, and talent initiatives—expanding L&D’s strategic influence through succession planning, skills reviews, mobility programs, and our senior leadership academy.
Operating within a federated model, you’ll collaborate with brand talent partners and our group team to design innovative, high-level L&D solutions. Reporting to the VP of Talent Management, you’ll be part of an international team redefining talent practices with a scientific, results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Evolve the Amer Sports Group L&D Strategy: Continuously refine and enhance our learning and development strategy to align with our organizational goals.
  • LMS Development: Lead the development and evolution of the Amer Sports Learning Management System (Docebo).
  • Enhance Core Employee Offerings: Develop world-class products and tools for self-leadership and leading others.
  • Innovative Learning Approaches: Curate and implement innovative learning methods that align with our principles, leveraging insights from our community of Brand L&D and Talent leaders.
  • Consultation and Support: Provide expert consultation to our global functions and brands to elevate the quality and impact of their people development initiatives.
  • Retail-Centric Learning Systems: Expand the functionality of our Docebo learning systems to better support our retail brands.
  • Capability & Talent Review: Assist in conducting our capability and talent review (SSCR), translating core business needs into effective development strategies and tools.
  • Cross-Brand Knowledge and Talent Exchange: Develop and adapt approaches that foster knowledge sharing and talent exchanges across brands.
  • Leadership Academy Development: Design and implement the framework, programs, and supporting systems for the Amer Sports Leadership Academy, in partnership with executive education organizations.
