Description

General Summary
Responsible for the development of and compliance within annual operating plans for all global manufacturing facilities. Will leverage data, trends, and forecasts to identify opportunities within the plan for cost improvement and production planning. Ensures that our global operations are compliant with purchasing and payment processes to ensure financial accuracy and monitoring to include management of labor, services and manufacturing consumables usage and costs. Responsible for the development and monitoring of KPIs and financials on a regular basis or supporting pricing requests as needed.

Pay: $110,541.41 - $147,387.48 Salaried
Essential Functions
Responsible for planning workflows while optimizing investment dollars to achieve efficiency requirements and delivering products on-time to our customers in four distinct optical labs within the United States.
Develop and manage annual operating plans for all manufacturing facilities.
Develop and track operational goals and targets identified in “Key Performance Indicators” (KPI).
Ensure consistent processes and procedures are maintained to support efficient purchasing, invoice payment and consumables (MRO) inventory management.
Support continuous improvement efforts across all areas (quality, capacity, costs, etc.) by providing financial opportunities to key stakeholders.
Facilitate team-based approach to strategic planning and implementation, financial and purchasing management, and customer satisfaction.
Lead and develop the skills and capabilities of site management team as needed to support financial acumen.
Promote world-class benchmark data to establish best practices and standard operating procedures across all facilities.
Directs team to include selection, training and development, coaching, counseling, and performance management.
Job Specifications

TYPICALLY HAS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS OR ABILITIES:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related degree required. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in functional area.
Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports
Global mindset and cultural sensitivity
Experience managing cost accounting or Operations Finance with multiple facility experience required
Knowledge of direct purchasing, MRO inventory management, cost accounting and operations annual financial planning required
Strong data analytics capability and the ability to process and validate information as it relates to the business is required.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities to drive root cause solutions that deliver with financial acumen
Ability to read and interpret compliance documents and translate to practical, effective procedures required
Manage complex projects where independent action, high degree of initiative and coordination across departments is required
Empathetic people leader and champion
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Current understanding of automated systems, data, and technology and experience implementing significant process and system changes
Experience working with external customers or industry partners.
Proven ability to work in partnership with other leaders to accomplish objectives
Ability to foster constructive and collaborative relationships
Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and develop people required
