YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns within competitive markets, particularly in the professional services sector
  • Expertise in digital channel strategy, content distribution, and internal communications
  • Creative problem-solver with a track record of generating new ideas, connecting strategic dots, and driving implementation
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing analytics, performance KPIs, and marketing automation platforms
  • Exceptional communicator, skilled at building cross-functional relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, especially senior leadership
  • Strategic mindset paired with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to execution
  • Fluent English speaker with outstanding written and verbal communication skills (native-level proficiency)
Responsibilities

You’re a strategic, innovative, and results-driven Marketing Director ready to lead our digital marketing, communications, and content distribution initiatives. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our content strategy across owned, earned, and paid channels—maximizing brand visibility, engagement, and impact across both digital platforms and traditional media. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Director of Content and the project management team to ensure alignment and seamless execution of strategic planning.
As a key member of our leadership team, you bring a proven track record in digital marketing, brand communications, and event strategy. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are passionate about using data to drive decisions, and excel at aligning stakeholders through clear, persuasive communication. Your key responsibilities are:

Digital Marketing & Channel Management

  • You own and execute digital strategies across all channels, including website, email marketing, social media, and digital campaigns. You manage SEO, SEM, and paid media to optimize reach and ROI.
  • You collaborate with the content team to package and distribute our thought leadership content across marketing channels.
  • You develop integrated campaigns leveraging owned, earned, and paid channels to amplify key messages and industry insights.
  • You collaborate closely with internal teams (HR, Knowledge Management, DE&I) to support their comms needs.

Communications & PR

  • You lead all aspects of communications to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • You collaborate with internal teams to support internal communication strategies to engage and inform employees.

Events

  • You lead the planning, execution, and performance evaluation of client events, webinars, and speaking engagements to enhance brand visibility, thought leadership, and reputation in the market.

Leadership & Management

  • You lead, mentor, and actively contribute to a high-performing team across digital marketing, communications, and events—balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
  • You collaborate closely with C-suite executives and cross-functional leaders to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with broader business goals and priorities.
  • You demonstrate strong upward management, driving strategic alignment and securing executive buy-in through clear, proactive communication and collaboration.

Processes, Performance Analytics and Reporting

  • You partner closely with the CRM team to design and implement best-practice processes for digital marketing initiatives, establishing clear KPIs and performance measurement frameworks across all channels and campaigns.
  • You leverage data and analytics to continuously optimize marketing efforts, inform strategic decision-making, and deliver clear, actionable reporting to senior leadership—driving ongoing improvement and impact.

The position could be based in our Munich or London office.
