The Opportunity:
The Director, Marketing Communications will have a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management and a proven track record in corporate communications, developing thought leadership content and managing public relations efforts to enhance our brand presence in the healthcare industry. This position will report to the SVP of Marketing and Commercial Operations and will manage a content development specialist as well as oversee our PR vendor relationship.

Essential Job Functions

  • Public Relations: Manage relationships with PR firms to ensure consistent and effective media coverage. Develop press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
  • Content Marketing: Create and oversee the production of high-quality, engaging content, including white papers, blog posts, client testimonials and social media updates, to establish Ensemble as a thought leader in revenue cycle management.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee the management of Ensemble’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent and engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and messaging.
  • Speaking Engagements: Coordinate and manage speaking engagements for company experts, positioning them as industry leaders and enhancing Ensemble’s reputation.
  • Reputation Management: Monitor and manage Ensemble’s online and offline reputation, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of communications and content professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication and content marketing efforts, using data to drive continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes and terminology.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies.
  • Experience managing PR firms and media relations.
  • Ability to create compelling thought leadership content.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
