The candidate is required to be onsite, 5 days a week, at the client’s Stamford, Connecticut office** What we offer You'll prepare daily reconciliations of positions and trades between client records and prime brokers, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. You'll work closely with prime brokers to resolve trade breaks and maintain smooth operational processes. You'll manage monthly reconciliations of tri-party positions, cash, market values, and accruals, while also preparing performance estimates for COO clients. You'll review Administrator NAV packages each month, update portfolio accounting systems when necessary, and build and maintain fund accrual schedules. You'll process corporate actions such as dividends, splits, and mergers for client portfolios, while serving as a point of escalation for complex issues. The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($175,000-$200,000). Qualifications You must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, along with at least 5+ years of financial services experience, specifically in middle office roles with alternative investment funds. You need strong expertise in financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, bank debt, repos, options, swaps, futures, and FX spot/forward contracts, plus advanced knowledge of margin processes and cash projections. You should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, multitasking ability, and strong communication skills for managing client relationships, while being hardworking, punctual, and personable. You are expected to have a solid understanding of hedge funds and private equity, strong accounting and analytical skills, and advanced computer proficiency, especially in Excel and portfolio accounting systems like Enfusion or Geneva. You will be required to work full-time in the office, applying your dedication and technical expertise to support operational and client-facing responsibilities.
