Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
Control complex projects following all BNY governance standards and provide effective program management to build and manage clear timelines, assess risks/issues, and articulate key messages to senior level Internal and External Steering Committees.
Ensure delivery of high quality and timely output by overseeing project teams maintaining and monitoring project documentation, risk, issues, action logs etc. Proactively resolve risks and issues and ensure they are fixed.
Run programs and act as the Client Implementation Executive and Relationship manager on large, complex Middle Office implementation programs. Work closely with clients and internal BNY PMO teams identifying and assessing risks and efficiencies, recommending suitable solutions and implementing plans, once agreed. Provide clear direction to staff managed during a project and post implementation, including where appropriate setting individual objectives at the start of a project, and reviewing outcomes during and at the end of the project.
Provide direction on the definition and documentation of the future state models ensuring they are scalable and efficient for all clients. This includes reviewing documentation of gaps & high-level requirements during the due diligence phase for client review and engineering estimation process, working with clients and internal groups
Sign off requirements and work with technical business analysts for any guidance on detail specifications.
Coordinate business requirements sign off with stakeholders internally and externally (including product owners, operations, engineering)
Provide technical guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed. Guide others on project teams and assist senior management to operationalize functional or business requirements
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’RE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Demonstrate in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of Middle office operations (with preferably knowledge of derivatives, collateral, performance measurement) and an understanding of middle office products, from other service providers, available in the marketplace, and client needs from these products to drive BNY solution design
Sufficient years’ experience of the Asset management industry including knowledge of Front Office and Cloud Data technologies preferred (e.g. Aladdin, Charles River, Bloomberg, Azure & Snowflake)
Experience in either Product management, Operations, or Client Relationship management preferred.
Client facing skills and demonstrated ability to influence partners at all levels of the firm, clients, and other third parties
