Job Description Develop, manage and support a portfolio of regional NBFI clients including business origination activities across IBG products, primarily GTB, Corporate Finance and Global Markets. Assist with the team’s business strategy, revenue targets, and with other objectives as defined. Maintain communication with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent client experience. Assist in the preparation of submissions for Credit and for other internal stakeholders and for keeping abreast of material developments in the designated client portfolio. Strategic Contribution: Work with Eds and MDs to develop the team’s strategy and business plan with the aim of increasing the Bank’s share of the target clients’ wallet and achieving target relationship returns. Keep close interaction with Product teams, and other stakeholders, to maximise business opportunities with clients, and to streamline execution of deals and strategies. Use Investment Banking product knowledge to strategically contribute to teams' revenue targets. Assist the team to originate and execute transactions with FIG clients across FAB banking products (Primarily GTB, Global Markets and Corporate Finance) focused on the assigned geographies Identify clients’ needs and propose solutions that translate into business opportunities Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities and increase the cross-sell ratio with key clients Work with respective Managing Directors and Executive Directors to originate new business opportunities with target clients across banking products Develop and execute Term Sheet, Information Memorandum, financial modelling, mandate letter Examine and resolve credit, market, and operational risk aspects of the transactions in collaboration with product partners and enablement units Participate in pitching, negotiation, and conclusion of transactions Maintain the credit quality of client relationships within the assigned portfolio at an acceptable level set by the Bank’s management and Credit Risk policies Ensure Account Plans are prepared and maintained for all key clients Ensure clients files / other documents are maintained to an appropriate standard Ensure credit reviews are submitted on time and agreed conditions are met Support the team on KYC and compliance requirements to ensure consistency with the Bank’s KYC and AML policies and regulatory requirements Maintain a satisfactory audit outcome for the portfolio / team activities Ensure that all internal processes for existing portfolio and NTBs are met in line with the Bank’s policies & procedures. Qualifications Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline Master’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting Qualification is preferred Minimum Experience: 5 - 10 years of experience investment banking experience Relevant experience obtained in a top regional or international bank Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes: Knowledge of the banking sector, and FAB’s products and business strategies Ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly to changing priorities Ability to analyse and research information Banking software systems proficiency Data analysis and financial modelling skills Credit analysis skills Communication skills
