Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience manufacturing operations, and program management within the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
  • Proven track record in leading NPI manufacturing and driving product launches from concept to volume production, ideally in networking, datacenter, or related technology domains.
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes (semiconductor, systems, or modules), supply chain, logistics, and quality systems.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and programs with high complexity and visibility.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in leading manufacturing operations for networking products, ASICs, or systems-on-chip (SoC).
  • Strong familiarity with hardware and software co-design and integration.
  • Expertise in supplier development and global sourcing strategies.
  • Experience managing teams across multiple geographic regions and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing technology environment.

About AMD Network Technology Solutions Group (NTSG)
Within AMD, the Network Technology Solutions Group (NTSG) delivers next-generation solutions that power networks, communications, and data center infrastructure worldwide. As the networking landscape evolves to meet the demands of AI, cloud,, NTSG sits at the forefront, architecting and delivering technologies that connect the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • NPI Product Operations: Lead end-to-end NPI operations, from initial scoping and planning through prototype development, pilot builds, and release to mass production. Define and execute best-in-class NPI processes, collaborating with engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between NTSG engineering, product management, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and external partners. Foster a culture of open communication, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Program Management: Direct large-scale, complex programs for new product introductions, ensuring milestones are met on time, within budget, and to specification. Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Supply Chain Integration: Partner closely with supply chain teams to align material readiness, vendor qualification, and logistics with NPI schedules and volume ramps. Support supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
  • NPI Operational: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for NPI programs (technology, schedule, cost, yield, reliability etc). Provide transparent reporting to executive leadership and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-impact operations team. Foster a culture of performance, innovation, and continuous learning. Attract, develop top talent to support the group’s strategic ambitions.
  • Change Management: Drive and manage change initiatives that support transformation and scalability, ensuring operational readiness for new technologies, products, and markets.
