Description The Director of Academic Counseling provides leadership for systems and programs that support student academic planning, progress, and success while advancing institutional priorities. This position is responsible for the following: Providing leadership and oversight for academic counseling, student scheduling, and systems that support student academic progress and success. Partnering with school leadership, faculty, students, and families to support student growth, academic planning, and informed decision-making. Ensuring the integrity of academic records, reporting systems, and student information processes through accurate and confidential practices. Develop and refine systems, programs, and initiatives that strengthen and celebrate the student academic experience and advance school priorities. Analyze and communicate student and program data to support institutional planning and informed decision-making. Contribute to the mission and daily life of the school through collaborative leadership and service to the community. Requirements The most qualified candidates will have: a Master's Degree in administration, curriculum, school counseling, or other related field, a minimum of 5 years experience in a school as a teacher, school counselor, or other related field, and experience in using an SIS and LMS.
