Description

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Account Services to lead our Account Services team across Automotive and Powersports divisions. This role will drive operational excellence, improve team performance, and ensure cross-functional alignment with our marketing and fulfillment teams. The Director will also be responsible for evaluating team strengths and weaknesses, establishing backups for all critical duties, and creating a scalable structure for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Assess team strengths and weaknesses to optimize performance and ensure balanced workloads.
  • Establish clear backup plans for all key tasks and functions.
  • Mentor and coach Account Services Managers (ASMs) to meet and exceed performance standards.
  • Conduct regular team evaluations and create actionable improvement plans.
  • Operational Oversight
  • Define and document “who does what” across the department to eliminate task ambiguity.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of client decks for internal and external

presentations.

  • Manage HubSpot maintenance and projections to ensure accurate data

tracking and forecasting.

  • Supervise the preparation of executive reports and reconciliations (recons)

for leadership.

  • Strategic Alignment & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with leadership to align departmental goals with company objectives.
  • Ensure seamless communication between Account Services, Marketing, and

Fulfillment teams.

  • Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and client

satisfaction.

  • Compliance & Quality Control
  • Oversee compliance processes, particularly for automotive co-op approvals.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in account services, client-facing project management, or agency

leadership.

  • Proven experience leading teams of 10+ in a marketing or agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot or similar CRM/project management tools.
  • Experience with process documentation and operational workflow improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Automotive or Powersports marketing experience (preferred).
