AirStrip is adding a Director of Accounting & Finance to our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for the overall ownership and management of financial activities for our growing SaaS company. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you’ll directly support our management team’s day to day business operations, dive into business strategy, and provide leadership and oversight of all accounting and finance related functions including general ledger close, billing, collections and development of internal controls over financial reporting.
You could be right for this role if you have a deep understanding of financial accounting, financial modeling/planning and operations for SaaS and traditional licensing businesses.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a CPA
  • 7+ years of hands-on accounting experience for private and/or public company
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience for SaaS based company
  • ERP proficiency with NetSuite desired

The salary range for applicable remote US-based applicants to this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.

  • $120,000 - $150,000 base salary, plus bonus potential.

Responsibilities
  • Proven knowledge and experience to oversee and complete the accurate and timely close of the company’s financials with ability to meet tight timelines for monthly reporting requirements
  • Manage AP/AR/Cash and full cycle Order to Cash process
  • Develop company policies around financial cadence and reporting using US GAAP
  • Complete annual Financial Audit activities
  • Manage KPI reporting and alignment with business leadership to measure monthly results of the business
  • Work with business leaders to build strategic plans and ensure corporate goals are met (Rev/Cost/Margin)
  • Formalize and roll up a regular revenue forecast and reporting cadence
  • Department reviews with leaders on Budget vs Actuals on all aspects of department costs
  • Lead financial analysis to provide relevant monthly, quarterly analytics to support decision making and strategy formulation
  • Support Company M&A efforts to ensure proper financial planning or diligence is completed
  • Build on tax needs for all sales, state, and corporate tax requirements
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of systems, processes, and company data
  • Lead implementation of a new ERP solution when current system is outgrown
