The Role We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Director of Accounting to lead our India-based accounting operations and own accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across both our India and US entities. You'll manage a team of 4–5 in India, report directly to the CFO, and serve as a key finance partner to leadership, external advisors, and global teams. This is an end-to-end ownership role spanning accounting operations, US GAAP compliance, audits, tax, payroll, and internal controls — ideal for someone with strong SaaS experience who thrives operating across a fast-scaling, multi-entity environment. What You'll Own Accounting Policy & Financial Reporting Maintain accurate books for both US and India entities under US GAAP Build and own the accounting policy framework, including SaaS revenue recognition, COGS, and Opex Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packs: cash analysis, collections, billings, and P&L variance Administer GTM commission plans — execution, tracking, and timely payouts Oversee AP/AR, including vendor management and cash flow planning Ensure accurate, timely payroll processing in both India and the US Compliance & Audit Own all India-based statutory compliance (ROC filings, GST, TDS, etc.) Manage external audits for both India and US entities Oversee US and India tax filings alongside external tax advisors Coordinate transfer pricing documentation and banking relationships for cross-border intercompany transfers Systems & Tools Own the NetSuite-based financial close process, including bank and credit card reconciliations Develop and enforce expense reimbursement policy; oversee travel and expense tooling Equity & Valuation Maintain the cap table (Carta, Excel, or similar) Support 409A and private company valuation processes with external partners Team Leadership Manage and develop a 4–5 person India-based accounting team Partner closely with the CFO and FP&A on financial strategy, controls, and reporting Maintain regular collaboration with US counterparts, with 1–2 hours of overlap across both India AM and PM windows Growth & Ownership Mindset Growth mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Willingness to learn and grow and contribute to personal and company success A builder's mindset — someone who creates “options” rather than getting stuck in problems, and who can turn ad hoc processes into scalable, repeatable ones What You Bring 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role Strong command of SaaS revenue recognition under ASC 606 Deep knowledge of US GAAP and India statutory accounting Experience managing multi-country operations, including India and US payroll, compliance, and tax Required: hands-on NetSuite experience Nice to have: familiarity with Carta and expense platforms (Navan, Brex, etc.) Track record managing audits, tax filings, and transfer pricing arrangements CA/CPA or equivalent preferred Why Logile This is a rare opportunity to build and scale accounting operations from the ground up, with a direct line to the CFO and real strategic input at a high-growth company with global reach.
