Arabella Hospitality SE is the management company of the Schörghuber Group for the hotel division. It operates the asset management for the 15 owned and leased hotels in Germany, Switzerland and Mallorca. The management of the majority of the existing hotel portfolio is the responsibility of Marriott International, Inc. Marriott International, Inc., headquartered in Bethesda/Maryland, USA, has a portfolio of over 8,000 hotels in around 130 countries and territories. It includes directly operated and franchised properties and licensed timeshare facilities under the umbrella of 30 leading brands. The company also owns the award-winning Marriott Bonvoy rewards program.
Arabella Hospitality SE’s central accounting department currently oversees 8 hotels in Germany. The accounting team currently comprises 15 employees and is divided into accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial accounting.

Responsibilities
  • Management and responsibility of central accounting (accounts receivable/accounts payable as well as financial accounting).
  • Responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Reconciliation of balances and clarification of differences, supervision of collection cases
  • KSK reports and statistical reports to authorities
  • Control of specifications, guidelines and standards in financial matters of the hotels
  • Close communication with owner representatives
  • Contact person for tax consultants, auditors, internal audit, treasury and lawyers
