Director of Admissions / Hospital Marketer
Job Description:
Join our team as a dedicated and compassionate Director of Admissions / Hospital Marketer at our Skilled Nursing Facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in increasing our facility’s census and referral base through proactive sales and community engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outside sales calls to hospitals, medical professionals, senior organizations, and community groups to promote our services and educate on bed availability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to drive admissions and meet the needs of the community.
  • Intake information from referrals and clients in a professional manner, ensuring a seamless admission process.
  • Collaborate closely with the DON and Administrator to facilitate timely admissions decisions.
  • Train and coordinate in-house staff on admissions processes and serve as a resource for inquiries and tours.
  • Stay informed about federal and state regulations, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, and managed care referral processes.
  • Monitor inquiry and admission trends to support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a database of medical contacts and community resources, keeping abreast of industry trends and regulatory issues.
  • Assist in developing facility marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, and advertisements.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably have sales and SNF community relations experience, particularly in SNF healthcare settings.
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong self-motivation.
  • Familiarity healthcare referral processes.
  • Proficiency in computer skills relevant to the role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate sales responsibilities.
