Description
Description Who We Are Parc Center for Disabilities provides opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities to exercise their independence and experience life to the fullest. Our vision is a community where all individuals live with dignity and are treated with respect. We are driven by a shared purpose: delivering exceptional, person-centered experiences every day. The Opportunity The Director of Adult Program Services is a senior leadership role for a dynamic, people-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment and is energized by influencing, motivating, and inspiring teams to achieve results. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role provides strategic and operational leadership for Parc’s Adult Day Training (ADT) and Residential Waiver programs, including Curry Villa and Burkett Villa. You will lead through connection, persuasion, and shared ownership, balancing urgency with empathy to drive strong outcomes for the people we support. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys variety, change, autonomy, and collaboration, and who brings both initiative and emotional intelligence to their work. What You’ll Do Inspire, motivate, and influence program managers to achieve strong operational and person-centered outcomes. Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership across adult day and residential programs, adapting quickly to changing priorities. Lead with urgency while managing multiple priorities in a highly dynamic environment. Build trust and buy-in across teams, fostering engagement, accountability, and shared ownership of results. Ensure compliance with APD, Medicaid Waiver, and Qlarant requirements while keeping the focus on people—not just processes. Guide teams through audits and corrective actions with confidence, clarity, and follow-through. Develop and manage program budgets, making sound, business-minded decisions that support sustainability and growth. Analyze outcomes, participant satisfaction, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Champion new ideas, service models, and approaches that enhance independence and quality of life. Build strong relationships with families, community partners, and internal stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and inclusion. Ensure accurate documentation related to care, staffing, incidents, and compliance—without losing momentum. Requirements What We’re Looking For Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, healthcare, or a related field OR High school diploma with three (3) years of relevant experience supporting individuals with disabilities. Five (5) or more years of progressive leadership experience in disability services or a similar human services environment. Demonstrated success leading teams, influencing outcomes, and driving results through others. Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record. Skills & Leadership Traits That Matter Here Naturally persuasive, engaging, and relationship-oriented leadership style. Comfortable taking initiative, making decisions, and owning outcomes. Energized by change, variety, and a fast-moving environment. Strong communicator—warm, confident, empathetic, and motivating. Able to balance big-picture thinking with execution and follow-through. Skilled at gaining buy-in, navigating resistance, and moving people toward shared goals. Working knowledge of Medicaid Waiver, APD, Qlarant, and medication administration requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with iConnect, Train.org, Therap, and Relias preferred. Curious, growth-minded, and focused on improving systems without blame or rigidity. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions as needed. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. On-site role, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility based on program needs. Why This Role If you are a people-first leader who enjoys driving results through connection, thrives in environments with movement and momentum, and believes strong relationships are the key to operational success, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact—every day.
