Responsibilities

ROLE OBJECTIVE:

To supervise the department’s operations focused on establishing and maintaining bilateral relations, especially with labor-exporting countries and GCC states, and to contribute to shaping strategies, reviewing agreements, and managing diplomatic engagements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Gulf relations and align positions with international organizations and regional tracks.
  • Oversee departmental units, ensuring efficient reporting and avoidance of task duplication.
  • Prepare periodic reports on bilateral cooperation with labor-sending countries across all labor sectors.
  • Track and evaluate departmental performance indicators, and submit annual reports to senior management.
  • Participate in bilateral technical meetings and high-level joint committees with labor-exporting countries.
  • Study and propose recommendations on bilateral agreements and MoUs related to labor cooperation.
  • Enhance relationships with external partners, promote internal stakeholder engagement, and manage change effectively.
  • Support the direct supervisor and handle any additional delegated duties.
  • Implement strategic plans to strengthen labor cooperation with relevant countries.
  • Oversee and improve departmental processes, KPIs, and service delivery standards.
  • Monitor changes in labor laws and policies in labor-sending countries and coordinate with relevant authorities.
  • Ensure the implementation and follow-up of signed MoUs, including amendments, in coordination with concerned parties.
  • Manage the operational plan, performance metrics, and departmental goals.
  • Develop internal team-building and continuous learning strategies for high-quality output.
