Location: GA-Athens Job Title:  Director of Branding & Programming/On-Air Talent - Athens Radio  Position Overview We are looking to fill the full-time role of Director of Branding & Programming for CHR WPUP & News/Talk WGAU and On-Air Talent. As Director of Branding & Programming, this person will maintain the consistent sound of the cluster CHR & News/Talk stations, which will include completion of daily music logs, writing stations imaging/promos, communications to staff and maintaining programming that integrates flawlessly with automation.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities Preparing content and co-hosting a live, four-hour weekday morning show on heritage country station, WNGC Voicetracking on other cluster stations will be required You will be trained in our policies for posting station-related content on social media and websites.  Minimum Qualifications Being a team player with strong communication is crucial, taking feedback is a must and the role takes a true multi-tasker Bringing a strong work ethic, the ability to run control boards perfectly, a knowledge of radio automation systems, familiarity with music scheduling, speaking clearly, proficiency in adobe audition/production and strong social media skills will help you land this job Preferred Qualifications Previous experience is preferred About Cox Media Group CMG Media Corporation (d/b/a Cox Media Group) is an industry-leading media company with unparalleled brands, award-winning content, and exceptional team members.
