AOM Healthcare is a premier long term care company, operating twenty one long term care facilities throughout the state of Ohio and is now hiring Full-Time Director of Business Development.
We are currently seeking skilled, compassionate, dedicated, and driven individuals to welcome our ever-growing team!
Our mission is to provide a patient-centered care environment, that promotes a positive team environment, with honesty, dignity, and respect. And to maintain our reputation for being the preferred source for long term care/skilled nursing and rehabilitation within the communities we serve.
We are currently looking for a Director of Business Development for Lake Pointe & Eagle Pointe. Candidate will receive referral inquiries from providers, facilities and other customer sources and act on them per company policies and procedures. Director will communicate admission information and assist with the completion of admission and pre-certification paperwork and physician follow up. Director will schedule facility tours and admission conferences for potential residents. Daily marketing is required in both the health care settings as well as in the community.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily Census tracking and reporting
  • Takes referral calls, maintain inquiry file.
  • Set-up admissions to the facility to include completion of contract signings and all necessary documentation, insurance verifications, tracking preauthorization/review for managed care residents.
  • Complete on-site/new referral visit to provide overview of the admission process, answer any questions and work with the referral resource to facilitate the transfer.
  • Initiates and/or assists with Medicaid applications and resource allocations.
  • Communicates necessary information to all facility departments and managers.
  • Complete necessary daily and monthly reports.
  • Maintains records of requests for information, records of future residents, and an inventory of current promotional and collateral printed materials. Purchases give-away items-implement and execute effective marketing plans.
  • Visits referral sources to establish networking, participates in the development of public relations activities, utilizes community resources; assist in the development of advertising strategies.
  • Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, promotes a team approach, participates in appropriate problem-solving methods.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Admin & Regional Business Development team.
