We’re looking for a strategic, driven, and entrepreneurial Director of Business Development to help shape the next chapter of our growth story.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Director of Business Development, you will spearhead sales and growth initiatives across Cornerstone’s diverse business verticals. This is not your average BD role — we’re seeking a visionary leader who can develop and execute strategic partnerships, identify new revenue streams, and drive top-line growth across multiple service lines. This role blends high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
You’ll work closely with our executive team to position Cornerstone as a trusted partner in senior living, real estate, facilities, consulting, and beyond.

QUALIFICATIONS:



    • 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships—ideally in real estate, healthcare, senior housing, or professional services.

    • Strong understanding of CRM tools, with preference for Salesforce or similar platforms.
    • Demonstrated success in building and closing complex deals and partnerships.
    • High level of business acumen and the ability to understand multiple industries and verticals.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

    Responsibilities

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



      • Lead Growth Strategy: Develop and execute business development plans to expand our footprint across multiple industries.

      • Pipeline Development: Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across senior housing, real estate brokerage, maintenance services, consulting, and venture capital.
      • Client & Partner Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, referral partners, investors, and key stakeholders.
      • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, marketing, and leadership teams to align goals, messaging, and deliverables across all divisions.
      • CRM Utilization: Leverage CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce) to manage pipeline, monitor KPIs, and track conversion rates.
      • Proposal & Contract Management: Lead the proposal development process and contract negotiations to close strategic deals.
      • Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform go-to-market strategies and identify gaps or expansion opportunities.
      • Brand Representation: Represent Cornerstone Companies at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to elevate brand awareness.
