DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Our client, a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, exclusively serving the life sciences industry, is seeking a proactive and strategic Director of Business Development to join their team in Shannon Co. Clare. This role will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities within the life sciences sector.
With strategically located facilities in the US and Shannon, Ireland, our clients provide unmatched supply chain solutions that help companies transport sensitive biopharmaceutical products with greater speed, security, and sustainability.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the life sciences or logistics industries.
- Strong interpersonal, consultative-selling, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a persuasive approach.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a keen understanding of the life sciences sector.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
As Director of Business Development, you will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to support growth objectives but will not have direct reports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in the temperature-controlled logistics sector for life sciences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and key industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the CCO and other teams to develop and implement effective business development strategies.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing our unique capabilities and solutions.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote Frontier Scientific Solutions and expand the company’s network.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business development efforts.
