POSITION SUMMARY:

Cristo Rey Columbus High School is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Director of Business Development to lead the sales efforts for our Professional Work-Study Program (PWSP). This position reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and works in collaboration with the PWSP team.
This individual will play a critical role in securing new corporate partners to employ students through our unique work-study model. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a strong sales or business development background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing transformational opportunities to high school students from under-resourced communities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience in sales, business development, or external relations
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and cultivate professional relationships
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking and presentation delivery
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking processes
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to the mission and values of the Cristo Rey Network and belief in the potential of all students

• Existing connections within the local business community
• Experience in workforce development, staffing, or education-industry partnerships
