Description
Overview Seeking a strategic "hunter" with a deep rolodex in the Healthcare sector. Vision Technologies is seeking a high-energy Director of Business Development to lead our expansion into the Healthcare market. We are a premier low-voltage systems integrator specializing in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Audiovisual (AV), Structured Cabling, and Physical Security. Your mission is simple but challenging: identify, pursue, and fully qualify new enterprise-level healthcare accounts (hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities) to build a robust long-term pipeline Responsibilities Your focus is on the "top of the funnel"—finding the right doors and kicking them open. Aggressive Market Hunting: Proactively identify and engage C-suite executives, Facilities Directors, and IT stakeholders within healthcare systems to pitch our integration services. Opportunity Qualification: Move beyond simple leads. You will fully qualify opportunities by understanding the clinical workflow, technical requirements, and budgetary cycles unique to medical environments. Strategic Networking: Leverage existing relationships and build new ones through industry organizations (e.g., ASHE, HIMSS) and healthcare construction networks. Consultative Selling: Position our DAS, AV, and Security solutions as critical infrastructure that improves patient outcomes and staff efficiency. Pipeline Management: Maintain a rigorous CRM cadence, ensuring a steady flow of "ready-to-bid" opportunities for the engineering and estimating teams. Key Technology Focus You don't need to be an engineer, but you must understand how Vision’s core competencies impact a hospital: DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems): Ensuring life-safety radio coverage and seamless cellular connectivity for doctors and patients. Audiovisual (AV): Implementing telemedicine portals, digital signage, and conference room integration. Structured Cabling: The fiber and copper backbone (Cat6A) required for high-speed medical imaging and data transfer. Security: Integrated IP surveillance, access control, and infant protection systems (e.g., GuardRFID). Qualifications Experience: 7-10+ years of proven business development or sales experience in the low-voltage integration or construction industry. Healthcare Expertise: A deep understanding of Healthcare-specific challenges (HIPAA compliance, ICRA protocols, Joint Commission standards). Track Record: Demonstrated success in "hunting" and closing multi-million dollar integration projects. Communication: Exceptional presentation skills; ability to translate technical jargon into business value for hospital administrators. Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% to meet with prospective clients and visit project site. Why Join Us? Competitive Compensation: Base salary + commission structure tied to qualified leads and closed contracts. Support System: You hunt; our world-class Account Executive’s and engineering team handles the complex design and estimating. Growth: We are a leader in the integration space looking to further penetrate the ever growing healthcare vertical. Base Salary- $100,000-$140,000. Please note that this job posting includes base salary information for the assigned target market range within the primary geographic region where the requisition is posted. If the position is posted in multiple locations or is a remote position, the salary range may vary. Individual pay rates will, of course, vary depending on the skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, internal equity, and education of the applicant. Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses, car allowance, cell phone reimbursement, and tuition reimbursement. You must complete a background check and drug screen in order to be hired.
