Position Title: Director of Business Development – Management Consulting Services

Job Summary: We are seeking a visionary Director of Business Development to lead strategic initiatives within our management consulting sectors focusing on Information Security, Quality Management, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). The successful candidate will bring a robust background in ISO standards, a nuanced understanding of the global GRC market, and expertise in developing strategic partnerships and brand strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • At least 7 years of strategic business development experience, with a significant focus on management consulting related to ISO standards and global GRC practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic partnerships and direct brand development initiatives.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing comprehensive event planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
  • Ability to travel extensively as required for business development activities and events.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • An MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business or related fields, demonstrating a strong foundation in strategic business management and leadership.
  • Professional certifications relevant to the industry, such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
  • Experience in global markets and a deep understanding of diverse regulatory environments, particularly related to GRC and ISO standards
Responsibilities
  • Craft and execute business development strategies that emphasize partnership creation and strategic alignment with global standards in Information Security, Quality Management, and GRC.
  • Direct the strategic brand development to bolster market presence and align with international standards and practices.
  • Manage the planning and execution of trade shows, events, and conferences to maximize brand visibility and market penetration.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of ISO standards to enhance service offerings and client engagements.
  • Analyze global market trends in the GRC domain to position the company as a leader in management consulting.
  • Develop robust partnerships across various sectors, utilizing a deep understanding of global compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead a team of business development professionals, setting goals and monitoring performance to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Engage with clients and industry leaders to maintain and expand the company’s market presence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful promotional materials and event presentations.
