SUMMARY:

The Director of Business Development for Preferred Care Home Health Services is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to increase referrals, brand awareness, and market share for the agency. This role requires a dynamic and experienced marketing professional with a proven track record in the healthcare industry, preferably within the home health sector. The Business Development will lead marketing initiatives, manage the marketing team and collaborate with other departments to achieve agency growth objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry, with a focus on home health care.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive growth.
  • Strong understanding of the home health care market and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques, social media marketing, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute annual marketing plans that align with the agency’s overall strategic goals. This includes market analysis, target audience identification, competitive analysis, and budget management.
  • Referral Source Development: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and community organizations. Develop strategies to increase referrals from these sources.
  • Community Outreach: Plan and execute community outreach programs to raise awareness of the agency’s services and build brand recognition. This may include health fairs, presentations, workshops, and participation in community events.
  • Traditional Marketing: Manage traditional marketing activities, such as print advertising, direct mail marketing, and public relations efforts.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials and communication channels. Develop and maintain brand guidelines.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes. Analyze data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports to leadership on key metrics, including referrals, lead generation, and conversion rates.
  • Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical guidelines, including HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including clinical operations, intake, and finance, to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
  • Stay Current: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging marketing technologies.
