POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Director of Business Development, you’ll be at the forefront of cultivating new business relationships and acquiring exciting new accounts.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 4+ years of strategic business development experience
  • Proven track record of success in a high-level B2B sales environment with a complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven capability in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive new revenue and secure new business.
  • Manage the end to end sales cycles: identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities
  • Gain a deep understanding of TransPerfect’s services, benefits, and competitive advantages and promote TransPerfect by educating clients about our diverse services
  • Generate prospective leads and build client relationships through cold calling, online research, networking events, trade shows, and direct marketing.
  • Manage pricing and contractual issues, ensuring a thorough understanding of company procedures.
  • Provide client support and manage client expectations effectively
  • Coordinate with clients and production teams to quote, manage, and bill projects daily, ensuring smooth and profitable operations.
  • Communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
