POSITION SUMMARY:

Pester USA Inc. is looking for a skilled, dynamic and self-motivated Manager to join our team. Responsible for assistance of starting up and maintaining a new subsidiary operation, managing administrative tasks and creating a positive work environment for our subsidiary office potentially located in Queretaro, Mexico or the surrounding region. This person will lead operations for the region and work to meet all growth targets to ensure the long-term sustainability of the subsidiary.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Pester USA. Inc. located in Huntersville, NC USA.
Please note, to start, this position will be considered a remote position with frequent travel to the subsidiary location in Mexico. The candidate must be willing to travel there as well as to the corporate office in Huntersville, NC as needed. Please do not apply if you are unable to do so.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent is required
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Previous experience as an Branch Manager or Operations Leader .
  • Goal adherence to ensure the long-term sustainability of the regional operations.
  • Understanding of Sales & Service Management.
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Excellent typing and computer skills, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Quick books, SAP, e-mail and internet, Teams
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, attention to detail
  • Skilled at multi-tasking & has an ability to reprioritize daily work tasks when necessary
  • Self-motivated with an ability to follow-up on ongoing projects
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
  • Understanding of local Mexican business practices and cultural norms is important for smooth operations
  • Knowledge of Mexican labor laws and regulations is crucial for managing staff effectively

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:

Internal daily contact with local subsidiary team members and Pester USA Inc. team members. Weekly contact with German HQ team members and mgmt. External contact with vendors and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead with set-up of new subsidiary for the Mexico territory.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure that all processes run efficiently and smoothly
  • Provide supervision and consultation of initial staff (2) Area Sales Managers, (1) German Consultant (1) and Assistant Operations Manager – Service and (2) Field Technicians
  • Source and contract local accounting agency.
  • Manage subsidiary budget and all expenditures, contract with local accounting agency to ensure financial compliance.
  • Properly document and work with PUSA to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for subsidiary
  • Maintain filing systems and documents management in accordance with regional and federal requirements.
  • Assist with the implementation of subsidiary policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations and advise PUSA during set up.
  • Manage Human Resources function and payroll for subsidiary location working with contracted accounting firm.
  • Ensure office safety and compliance
  • Provide support to Pester USA Inc. team as needed, reporting directly to Vice President.
  • Provide all monthly, quarterly and yearly (or as requested) reporting to Vice President. This includes financial reports as well as sales and service reporting of the region to ensure sufficient activity and growth.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory as needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment
  • Coordinate location internal and external events
  • Work alongside PUSA marketing to develop and implement a territory marketing plan
  • Work alongside PUSA marketing to coordinate and execute local tradeshow participation to build brand and presence awareness.
  • Liaise with facility management vendors
  • Travel to Queretaro, Mexico and Huntersville, NC as needed. Estimated at approximately 50% travel to start.
