Actively solicits new accounts to meet/exceed goals through telephone sales calls, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication. Maintain existing relationships with key account contacts by communicating on a routine basis. Prospect local corporate accounts and develop strategies to increase business travel revenues. Work closely with hotel departments to help facilitate services agreed upon by sales office. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction. Maintains positive relationships with all guests, vendors, colleagues and global sales network Maintains account, contact, activity and business details within Opera S&C according to Fairmont standards Ensures delivery of expected guest service through follow up and coordination with other hotel departments Participate in daily meetings, site inspections, training. Attend trade shows, local events and travel pertinent to the position. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Highly responsible & reliable Able to self-manage and take ownership of assigned tasks Eye for detail and highly organized Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Experience with Opera OSEM preferred Experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area. OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area.
