JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Campus Security Operations to oversee all security operations on our campus in Liberty, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, law enforcement, or a related field, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in security management or law enforcement (preferred)
• Experience in Higher Education Campus Security, Title IX compliance and investigations
• Knowledge and experience in compliance with the Clery Act
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of security best practices and procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field (preferred)
• Certifications in security management or law enforcement (preferred)

• Develop and implement campus security policies and procedures
• Manage a team of security officers and staff
• Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies, including police and fire departments, as needed
• Conduct regular security assessments, inspections and audits
• Assist with Clery Act and Title IX compliance
• Assist with campus investigations
• Annual compliance reporting and certifications as required
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies
• Provide security training and education to campus staff and students
• Monitor security systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
