Description Heartline Staffing, strategic talent partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Director of Case Management to lead hospital-wide case management operations at a large, fast-paced Level I Trauma facility in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Director of Case Management is responsible for overseeing all aspects of department operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizing discharge planning processes, and driving performance outcomes across interdisciplinary teams. This role partners closely with hospital leadership and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care, efficient resource utilization, and exceptional patient outcomes. This position requires a strong executive presence, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to lead change initiatives within a complex healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee daily operations of the Case Management department - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards - Drive performance metrics related to throughput, discharge planning, and care coordination - Engage interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals - Manage staffing, workflow optimization, and department performance outcomes - Serve as a subject matter expert in hospital case management Facility Overview: - 403-bed acute care hospital - Level I Trauma Center - High-volume, fast-paced environment - Oversight of approximately 30 Case Management FTEs Compensation: Salary Range: $117,423 – $155,000 (based on years of experience) Incentive Bonus: 17.5% annual incentive Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis Requirements Education: - Bachelor’s degree required - Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or Business Administration preferred Licensure: - Active RN, LCSW, or LMSW license required Experience: - Minimum 3 years of recent acute care hospital case management experience required - Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in hospital case management required - Director-level experience strongly preferred - Large hospital experience highly preferred Additional: - Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision - Executive presence and strong stakeholder collaboration skills
