DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES (OPERATIONS)
Priory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a Director of Clinical Services (Operations) to join the team. This is a full-time 37.5-hour role.
Priory Hospital Roehampton, a registered hospital in London, is a welcoming and highly respected rehab facility, offering expert mental health and addiction treatment.
We support people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, providing specialist care for depression, anxiety and addictions. Our team offers tailored treatment for substance addictions, including alcohol, cocaine and heroin, as well as behavioural addictions like gambling. We also provide outpatient support for adults with eating disorders.
For young people, we have a dedicated young people’s mental health inpatient service across two specialist wards - Richmond Court and Kingston Court - where we provide expert care in a supportive environment. We also offer private autism assessments for children.

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you’re assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

What you’ll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
The role holder must be registered with either the NMC or HCPC, with the specific preference determined by the needs of the service. A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is essential, along with a passion for providing high-quality care and driving continuous improvement. The individual will demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making skills, and will be forward-thinking, proactive, and creative. They must be able to manage multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment, while upholding high levels of integrity and clear professional boundaries. The role requires experience of working at a supervisory or managerial level within a relevant clinical setting, including a minimum of two years as a Ward Manager or equivalent. The successful candidate will have experience managing a clinical budget, a strong background in leadership and people management, and a proven ability to lead, implement, and review quality initiatives. A strong track record of innovation is also essential.
