POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Community Impact & Engagement leads efforts to shape, communicate, and elevate the organization’s story—honoring its history, mission, cultural foundations, and the interconnected work across health, culture, ʻāina, and food systems. This leader is responsible for stewarding the organization’s brand, cultivating strong community relationships, and deepening partnerships with the health center. Through strategic outreach and visibility, the Director helps mobilize support from funders, policymakers, collaborators, and the broader community. A key part of this role is aligning narrative, outreach, and impact reporting across programs to clearly demonstrate how collective efforts advance community wellness, resilience, and long-term systems change. In close collaboration with the Waiʻanae Coast Comprehensive Health Center’s communications team, the Director ensures consistent messaging and builds sustained community support for ʻElepaio’s programs. Operating within funding guidelines and the vision set by the ʻElepaio Social Services Board of Directors, the Director works alongside a wide network of service providers and community leaders to advance shared goals and strengthen collective impact. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 1.  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred 2.  A minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing, communications, or public engagement, preferably within the nonprofit or community sector required 3.  Experience in Indigenous or place-based storytelling, community engagement, or advocacy preferred 4.  Proficiency in website management, social media, and digital marketing tools required 5.  A valid Driver’s License and daily access to an automobile required                                                                                                                        An Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
