Responsibilities Ensure quality of services, monitor and ensure compliance with agency and program policies, and relevant regulations pertaining to all services. Conduct timely, efficient and active internal and external referral processes and follow up timely on all referrals and document outcomes, determining appropriate next steps and appropriateness of referred services. Liaison to funding sources, professional organizations and other community engagement initiatives and represents the CEO and the organization in a manner that meets standards of integrity, professionalism and outcomes. Responsible for oversight of the component ensuring all requirements for reporting are met, the development of appropriate office systems, draft completion of renewal applications are timely and accurate, contract monitoring and renewal is maintained, and proactively working with the Finance Director to ensure budgets are followed and expenditures are appropriate. Responsible for resource development including grant writing and development and enhancement of services. Responsible for public policy expertise with respect to program services, advocating for the poor and orientation of the Board of Directors and other policy groups as assigned. Oversight of component hiring, termination and employee orientation and development, ensuring compliance with personnel policies and agency philosophy and development of program-related procedures. Takes the lead on organizing and carrying out SCAP’s tri-annual community needs assessment in partnership with the CEO and other executive team members. Ensure integration of services both internally and externally with partners, working to ensure program quality and elimination of duplication of effort by employees and customers. QualificationsRequirements Master’s Degree in human services, social work, public policy or related field or Bachelor’s Degree with at least five years of directly related and progressive experience. Five (5) years progressive management experience. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide innovative leadership. Working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and policy related to welfare and other public benefits and related services to families. Computer literacy required including the use of technology that creates efficiency. Ability to work proactively and progressively with community groups, colleagues, consumers and other groups. Sensitive to the needs and possess a thorough understanding of the social issues, and public policy related to poverty, and at-risk groups. Committed to team approach problem solving and working to resolve conflict at all levels. Knowledge and understanding of issues related to individuals and families in poverty. Ability to build upon the strengths of those we serve with diverse racial, cultural, social, educational and economic backgrounds, including high risk populations, to provide high-level services and lasting solutions to fit each individuals and family's needs.
