As the Director of Community, The Maybourne Society, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our new Maybourne VIC programme and platform. You will be responsible for community growth and development - establishing, engaging and managing relationships with our leading guests and new members. This position requires a dynamic and motivated individual who has a deep understanding of business development, luxury service, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for providing exceptional experiences.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to engage new members and existing clients.
  • Work closely with the Director of Membership and Director of Private Concierge on networking, industry events, and market research.
  • Conduct presentations and meetings with members and prospective members to showcase the programme
  • Working with the Director of Membership to develop tailored services that align with individual member preferences and needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-profile prospective members, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Monitor membership metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Work collaboratively within department to ensure optimal departmental performance.

Successful candidates for our Director of Community, The Maybourne Society opportunity will be:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, membership acquisition, retention and management, or a similar role within luxury lifestyle.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with high-profile clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
