Description

We are looking for a Director of Construction with experience in managing projects in the energy and electrical engineering sectors. Responsibilities: Full management of construction projects: from planning and budgeting to project delivery and commissioning. Preparation of construction schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments. Oversight of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with timelines and quality standards. Interaction with regulatory authorities, obtaining permits and licenses, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Organization and control of occupational health and safety standards. Management of procurement and tenders, conducting negotiations with suppliers. Reporting to senior management on timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators. Experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the energy and electrical sector (substations, power plants, data centers, industrial facilities). Hands-on experience working with contractors in tenders and procurement procedures. Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and quality assurance processes. Strong negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to manage distributed teams. English proficiency at C1 level or higher — for negotiations, reporting, and presentations. Strong organizational skills, proactivity, and a results-oriented mindset.
