Description National Airlines, based in Orlando, FL, operates passenger charter service as well as customized military and commercial air cargo carriages worldwide. Job Title: Director of Crew Services Location: Orlando, FL Department: Crew Services Reports To: Vice President of Flight Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Summary: The Director of Crew Services is responsible for leading the Crew Services Department and ensuring Crewmembers are supported through effective scheduling, staffing, travel, and operational support programs in compliance with applicable FARs and Company policies. This position works closely with operational leadership to develop staffing plans and resource strategies that support the flight schedule and operational objectives. Essential Functions: Participate in the Company's SMS, as required Serve as a key stakeholder in the Company's Fatigue Risk Management Program (FRMP) and support related policies, processes, and initiatives Provide leadership and oversight of functions related to Crew scheduling, planning, staffing, travel, and operational readiness Ensure Crew Services personnel perform their respective duties while providing support to Crewmembers and maintaining the integrity of the flight schedule Analyze future flying, fleet growth, and new business opportunities while collaborating with other departments to support operational priorities and strategic objectives Develop and maintain processes to ensure Crewmember legality and operational readiness, including compliance with FARs, training and qualification requirements, visa and international entry requirements, Company policies, and other applicable requirements Provide oversight of the Crew travel program and support initiatives to improve service, efficiency, and cost management Monitor staffing models and provide regular Crew forecasting updates while coordinating with Training and other departments to ensure alignment with current and future operational requirements Report on departmental performance, staffing, and operational readiness Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of experience in airline operations, with a focus on Crew scheduling/planning Comprehensive understanding of 14 CFR Part 117 and Part 121 Experience leading operational teams in a 24/7 environment Reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude Able to multitask efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills PC proficient in Microsoft Office products and general internet applications Ability to work any shift including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Some travel may be required Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Physical Demands: · While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, copy machine/printer. · Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. · Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work · Light to moderate lifting up to 10 pounds.
