We are currently seeking a Director of Culinary Services who is passionate about making a difference for our Berkeley Community!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent required
  • Food Safety Certification (SERVSafe or equivalent)
  • A.A. degree in culinary arts preferred
  • Two years of supervisory experience, including setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc
  • Associates must have reliable means of transportation to consistently meet attendance and punctuality standards. This role does not require a valid driver’s license or personal vehicle unless specified in additional job requirements
  • Must demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related diseases
  • Five years of food and hospitality management experience (may include Restaurants, Country Clubs, etc.)
  • You may be required to work outside of your regular hours depending on business needs
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Responsible for overall operation of the Culinary Department of the Community
  • Experience at Independent and Assisted Living Communities preferred
