✅ What we're looking for:Strong data engineering background (you may have touched Data Science, Analytics and/or Software Engineering throughout your career, but DE must be your main forte)
Genuine technical depth in data warehouse architecture, ETL processes, table structures, and reporting — this is a semi hands-on role, not a purely strategic one, and you'd be expected to lead by example when needed
Track record in fast-paced, ambiguous environments — B2B SaaS, FinTech, PE-backed businesses, leading scale-ups etc.
Comfortable owning a domain fully, without needing much direction - you'll be the most senior data authority in the business
Knowledge of data governance, data operations, and compliance standards
