Description
The Director of Development, College of Nursing is the chief philanthropy officer with the primary purpose of leading the fundraising and alumni engagement efforts for the departments, institutes and centers within the College of Nursing. Building relationships with the dean, department chairs and research staff is critical for the success of this position. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Development, the Director collaborates with colleagues in the department and USF Foundation to support proactive and reactive fundraising. Working with the dean and the Sr. Director of Development, the Director develops a compelling case of support including annual and long-term fundraising goals. The Director will participate in growing alumni programming leading to solicitation opportunities. The incumbent will have metric-based goals and carry a portfolio comprised of patients, friends and alumni.
Responsibilities
The Director of Development leads the fundraising and alumni engagement efforts for the College of Nursing. Building relationships with key stakeholders and developing a compelling case of support are critical for success.
