Now we're looking for a strategic nurse-leader to own and elevate our entire education infrastructure — connecting what our teams learn directly to how our patients are cared for. If you're an RN who wants your leadership to leave a lasting mark on a care organization — and on the patients it serves — this is your role. What You'll Do As Director of Education, you'll be the organization's education anchor — designing programs, leading state-specific educators, and building the systems that keep our clinical teams sharp, compliant, and confident. Your day-to-day includes: Leading and supervising state-specific educators across IL, IN, MI, and OH Administering the Relias LMS platform, maintaining =95% compliance org-wide Translating QAPI findings, audit scores, and CAHPS results into documented, measurable education interventions Building competency tracking and education dashboards for senior leadership Overseeing new employee orientation, clinical competency development, and ongoing regulatory training Planning and managing the annual education calendar, budget, and multi-site events Ensuring all clinical staff meet federal, state, and accreditation training requirements before patient assignment Presenting monthly education summaries to the CNO and senior leadership team Stay current on CMS regulatory updates, CHAP standards, state-specific licensure requirements, and adult education best practices; proactively update programs to reflect changes Benefits We Offer Competitive Pay Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off Company provided equipment Travel Reimbursement for multi-site responsibilities Requirements What You Bring Active, unrestricted RN license in IL, IN, MI, or OH, willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed BSN required; Master's in Nursing, Education, or Healthcare Administration preferred 5+ years of hospice experience, including 2+ years in a leadership, education, or quality role Experience designing and delivering adult education programs in a healthcare setting Working knowledge of CMS Hospice Conditions of Participation and CHAP or equivalent accreditation standards Proficiency with LMS platforms — Relias experience strongly preferred Experience with HCHB clinical documentation system Familiarity with QAPI methodology and performance improvement processes Experience supervising educators or clinical staff in a field-based model Willingness to travel regularly across all license locations Bonus points for CHPN or CHPCA certification, or experience in a multi-site hospice organization.
