JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Education will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational programs and initiatives at our institution. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual with a background in education administration and curriculum development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing academic programs and SAP (student academic progress) and fostering an environment that promotes student success and faculty development. The Director will also engage in helping to expand awareness of the institute with area high schools, colleges and community.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in education administration with a strong understanding of higher education systems.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience in teaching at the high school or college level.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team building and collaboration.
  • Background in curriculum development tailored to meet diverse student needs.
  • Research experience that informs best practices in education.
  • Strong administrative experience with effective organizational skills.
  • Experience working directly with students, providing guidance and support in their academic journeys.
  • Exceptional writing skills necessary for documentation, reporting, and communication within the institution. This position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator looking to make a significant impact within our academic community.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 20 per week
