The Role As Operational Director of Enforcement, Regulatory Services and Community Safety, you will lead a wide-ranging portfolio that plays a critical role in safeguarding our residents and improving their quality of life. This is a strategic leadership role with operational influence – guiding enforcement, regulatory and community safety services and shaping the delivery of our Community Safety Strategy. Key priorities will include: • Leading and delivering a proactive, intelligence-led approach to crime prevention and community reassurance; • Driving innovation and efficiency across services, leveraging technology and new ways of working; • Fostering effective partnerships to reduce anti-social behaviour, tackle youth crime, and protect vulnerable residents; • Inspiring a high-performing, collaborative workforce that reflects our borough’s values. We’re looking for a resilient, forward-thinking professional with substantial senior leadership experience in community safety, enforcement or regulatory services.
