As the Director of Engineering & Facilities Maintenance, you will lead the strategic and daily operations of all engineering and maintenance functions across our resort. As a key member of the Executive Committee, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the physical integrity, safety, sustainability, and guest experience within our property meet the highest standards of excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering and facilities strategy aligned with our brand’s commitment to exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
• Oversee all resort building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety, energy management, and preventative maintenance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering and maintenance teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with other departments (Housekeeping, Front Office, F&B, Events, etc.) to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and rapid resolution of maintenance issues.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including local codes and brand standards.
• Drive energy efficiency initiatives, sustainability programs, and capital improvement projects with an eye on both environmental and financial impact.
• Implement systems and processes to ensure timely preventative and corrective maintenance across all resort facilities, guest rooms, and public spaces.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure engineering projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
• Serve as a key contact with external contractors, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Support business continuity planning, emergency preparedness, and safety protocols for guests and team members.
• Ensure all engineering work supports and contributes positively to the guest experience.
