Job Description
The Director of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering and maintenance operations of the property. This includes ensuring that all building systems, facilities, and equipment are functioning efficiently and safely. The role requires strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge and the ability to manage a team of engineers and maintenance personnel to uphold the hotel’s high standards.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a luxury hotel environment.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering operations and projects.

SKILLS:

• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Professional engineering certification or license is an advantage.
