About the Role We're looking for a Director of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization across multiple disciplines. You'll directly manage a team of development managers and tech leads spanning .NET, PHP, native mobile, and front-end — driving execution, culture, and technical excellence across the board. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and product delivery. What You Will Do Lead, mentor and grow development managers and their respective teams Foster a high-performance culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement Define and execute architecture strategy and technical roadmap Partner with HR and hiring managers to recruit and retain top talent, including the establishment of career frameworks, growth paths, and performance processes. Own engineering delivery across all pods — setting clear goals, tracking progress against OKRs, and removing blockers Partner with Product and Design to refine roadmaps, scope features, and ensure reliable, predictable releases Partner with Project Management to track engineering KPIs and drive accountability Serve as the primary engineering liaison to Product, Design, QA, Customer Success, and executive leadership Partner with Security, DevOps, and IT to maintain a reliable, secure, and scalable platform Evaluate and improve development workflows, tooling, and SDLC practices across disciplines Drive consistency in engineering standards (code reviews, documentation, testing practices) while respecting the nuances of each technology stack What You Bring 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in engineering leadership managing managers Proven track record of building, scaling, and leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in a SaaS environment, including hiring and talent development. Experience owning end-to-end product delivery — from roadmap planning through deployment and support Skilled at navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across teams with competing priorities Technical background with any of our core stacks: C#/.NET, PHP, iOS/Android native development, modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) Experience running OKR or similar goal-setting frameworks across engineering teams Clear, direct communication, tailoring messaging for engineers, product leaders, and executives alike Demonstrated data-driven decision making using metrics to surface problems and drive improvements What We Bring We believe in taking care of our people.
